Birch Hill Equity Partners completed the take-private acquisition of First National Financial Corporation through a plan of arrangement. First National is a Canada-based originator, underwriter and servicer of predominantly prime residential (single-family and multi-unit) and commercial mortgages. With almost CAD 160 billion in mortgages under administration, it is one of Canada’s largest non-bank mortgage originators and underwriters. BXR shareholders co-invested with Birch Hill Equity Partners VI.
